My goal in therapy is to provide you with a safe and supportive space to share all your thoughts and feelings. My clinical focus is on improving your psychological well-being through different therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, interpersonal therapy and emotion-focused therapy. I am a Registered Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups across the spectrum of mental health and life stressors. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, sexual health, self-esteem issues, stress management, post-partum, parenting difficulties, and grief.

Katelyn is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She attended Trent University for her Bachelor of Social Work and shortly after, obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto. With a desire for continuing education, Katelyn continues to engage in further certificates and training opportunities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Approaches for Anxiety and Brief Action Planning.

Over the years, Katelyn’s experience includes, but is not limited to, working with substance use, concurrent disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, anger management and psychotic disorders. Katelyn not only has experience providing individual therapy, but also has experience facilitating and developing groups for concurrent disorders, substance use, and psychosis. Her client focus are adolescence and adults.
